01
End forced rescue of consenting adults
Adult women who state they are working by choice must not be removed to shelter homes, held for “counselling,” or blocked from leaving. Protection that cannot be refused is custody.
-
02
Separate trafficking investigations from adult labour
Investigate force, fraud, and coercion with care. Do not treat every spa workplace as a crime scene and every adult worker as evidence. Mixing the two fails survivors and workers together.
-
03
Lawful process for workplace operations
Raids and inspections must rest on identified legal authority. Workers should be told why officers are present. Licensed establishments should not be treated as inherently illicit.
-
04
Ban the broadcast of workers’ faces
News cameras should not be invited into operations to display women as trophies of a rescue. Privacy is a right; humiliation is not public interest.
-
05
Release and livelihood restoration
Adults detained without a criminal charge should be released promptly. Where wrongful detention cost wages, documents, or housing, the State should restore — not lecture.

Listen to workers, not only to raid briefings
Policy on wellness work must include the women who do it. This platform exists so those voices reach the record.
